“ One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Everything about this place is amazing. All the dishes on the menu are fabulous! Always good service and delicious food. I will definitely come back here again! ”
“ We stopped at Miz Kathi's Cotillion after a family funeral. We didn't know that they require a reservation. Olivia was more than happy to seat us due to the circumstances. We started with old fashioned sweet tea, waters and Aunt Marilyn had a Mimosa. I want that hungry but opted to try the loaded grits with bacon and cheese. It wasn't the grits that I was used to. It was more of porage style. It wasn't hot considering the water's said it just came from the oven. Michael had the Sunshine Citrus Berry Salad. It looked really refreshing. Huge portions too. Ain't Marilyn had the 12 Oaks Pulled Pork. Fried green tomatoes with a large portion of pulled pork, Cole slaw and an onion ring nestled on a toasted potato bun. She enjoyed her meal throughly. I'm glad that she was able too. Afterwards, they indulged in 2 pieces of homemade cake slices. Coconut Cake & Dark Chocolate Salted Carmel. Decently Delicious! It started out with just a few of us but before we left an hour later they had become extremely busy. Turning over tables quickly. As I watched others enjoy their meals, I couldn't help but see the various entrees. Chicken and waffles. Southern style meatloaf. Chicken salad croissant. These made me wish I had ordered something else. Olivia was an amazing server. This is why I'm giving them 5 stars. We'll definitely add this to our favorites placed to grind for the future. ”
“ First time trying their new breakfast menu. My husband said his sausage gravy biscuit had the fluffiest biscuit. This experience gives you all the comfort of breakfast at your grandmother's home. Always good service and delicious food. ”
“ Everything about this place is amazing. The atmosphere, the service and the food. I could go on for days about the food. Everything on the menu is fabulous! Definitely try the banana pudding, it actually has a banana flavor, not a vanilla pudding taste. P.S. I don't get the caramel drizzle on it. (Personal preference) I highly recommend this cafe. I can't wait to return. Be sure and check the hours before you go. Closed on Sunday and short hours on Monday. ”
“ If you have not been here, it's a must try. The place was full with only two waitresses. But they never ever missed a beat. As far as the food goes here, it is southern cooking at its best. I have not had anything that I would say don't try. Try it all, that is if you can. And when I say all, make sure you try a piece of cake or pie. One slice of cake is big enough for a table of four. The place very collective. It is if somebody went and hit all the thrift stores around and anything that was about 40 years old ended up here. So you'll have a mixed match of dessert plates and cups. Just gotta love this place it's fabulous. It is highly recommended to get a reservation. ”
“ We had our church ladies lunch here today and everything was fresh and delicious. They handled about 50 of us with efficiency and kindness. ”
“ Last night we attended Miz Kathi's Thanksgiving Eve dinner and boy, what an amazing event! First off, we got stuck in Traffic driving from Tampa (big surprise, right?) and knew we were going to be late. We called and spoke to Joel to let him know that even though we were going to be late for our reservation, we were most certainly still on the way. He said he would let the staff know to keep our food warm for us. What great service! Thanksgiving Eve was a scheduled event with a few different seatings and a fixed menu. When we arrived (late) everyone else from our seating time was already enjoying their meals. But the staff welcomed us warmly, seated us quickly, and served us right away! The meal started with a delicious salad of spring mix, apples, bacon and a sweet, creamy vinaigrette. And along with the salad came some of the most incredible cornbread you've ever tasted. After salad, we were served a plate of sliced turkey, dressing, cranberry cocktail, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cheese and shells, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. All of which made our plates almost overflow with holiday deliciousness. After dinner, as if we had any room left for more, they brought out the dessert plates. Everyone received a personal sized pumpkin pie and a slice of apple pie and a slice of chocolate cake. Everything was incredible. The service, the food, the portions and flavors. And the place is beautifully decorated in old Southern charm. I know it's too late for you to experience it this year, but time flies so fast, it's not too early to start dreaming about next Thanksgiving Eve already! ”
“ A charming cafe serving delicious southern cuisine and charm. I had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch of crisp freshly fried green tomatoes and fried shrimp appetizers. I stopped at the bakery at the recommendation of my server.. despite the late hour there was still a good selection of delicious baked treats ”
“ The service is slow but friendly only when they get to you. Sadly, I saw a couple leave because no one got a chance to take their order. Food is served the way they described the menu. Vegetables were flesh and i was given a big portion of the bacon. The catfish dish, which was ordered by my friend was fresh and served with a big portion. They were serving three types of cakes that day which were the coconut white cake. The second one was a chocolate cake and the third one was salted caramel. The serving was so large that two or three people can share a slice. This is a place where you know locals go. Will I go back? Definitely. ”
